This is an exciting year. Our country has been going in a direction that has brought us to the current problems we face.
We have a poorly performing economy that has affected housing, banking and our stock markets.
We have dismal job growth and record deficits.
The US debt has significantly increased with no end in sight.
We have gone from a nation of builders, designers and makers to shuffling paper that represents the work of others.
We need change that is positive. Change that understands top down economics just has not worked. Over thirty years of this ideology has significantly enabled the problems of today. We say that bottom up is a better approach.
When people are gainfully employed.
When people are earning an income that enables the growth of the middle class
We All benefit - Citizens - Small Business - Large Corporations
Our Nation benefits.
Support your local business that works to keep manufacturing jobs in the US. These are truly Red, White & Blue companies. They deserve our support. This is where economies are created.
There is a real opportunity to change the direction of this country but not without your help. Thanks to you for getting out there and deciding to become involved.

WHY THIS WEBSITE?
Simple:
We Sodus Democrats wanted a forum, a place to communicate, a place to voice opinions, a place to exchange ideas. A Living Room in cyber space to gather and discuss--even argue over the events of our great country and this beautiful town.
It is true that few Democrats hold government office positions in Sodus, but it is not true that we are few in number, nor are we voiceless.
This will be our place--your place to speak, and be heard.
